Another way which is run by the makers of the malware is to infect a cell phone through a tactic known as Malverstising. These tactics take advantage of mobile advertising (mobile ads) to lead users to malicious sites. If the user has landed on this site, then the automatic downloading of malware will happen.
To obtain the results of the investigation, titled Mobile Threat Report, the company that offers securityprograms for a number of smartphones is collecting data more than 700 applications and 10 million devices.
Of the report note that Android users face the threat of malware 2.5 times more than 6 months ago. It is estimated, as many as 500,000 people are infected with malware Android in the first half of 2011. During 6 months of this addition, the number of applications that are infiltrated by malware, up from number 80 to 400 applications.
In order to remain safe in the smartphone owners use a cell phone, caution should be kept in downloading an application and must not click on links through the browser on the phone.
